What is a Glass Art Print?
An alternative to traditional print media, glass art prints are
literally digital images that have been printed on glass to create rich,
vibrant, unique works of art. We believe that glass is an excellent alternative to canvas printing or typical framed photo enlargements.
Through a highly industrialized process, we can take virtually any digital image (photo) and print it onto glass of almost any size or thickness (standard glass is 6mm with options of 10mm and 12mm as custom orders). The glass is then heated up to 427°C (800°F) and tempered at 746°C (1375°F). And because we use ceramic inks, the final image actually becomes part of the glass structure, so unlike traditional art media, it won’t fade, scratch or peel. Easy to clean and durable, what you are left with is a piece of art that will truly stand the test of time.
Smallest glass art print is 8" x 8" through to a very large 59" x 118" (4'11" x 9'10").
